The Van Agen Sod Farm is a sixth generation family owned and operated farm located in Bancroft, Michigan, and is one of Michigan’s leading Sod providers. The Van Agen Sod Farm has used the most efficient, reliable Sod harvesting technology to provide the highest quality Sod around. Our Sod blend results in better insect and disease control, improved appearance, and an appealing, earlier green. Our sod is a blend of four types of bluegrass seed that is grown on either top-soil or peat. It is cut daily and to order, so it is fresh and immediately ready to install. Pricing is done by the square foot. Delivery is an additional cost that depends on the amount of sod needed, the distance from your home or job site to our farm, and whether a forklift is needed to unload it.
